Part of our Bags for Good collection, the Area Hobo bag is made from sustainable 100% recycled polyester. The BFG range fabrication makes our prints look brighter and crisper than ever. The Bags for Good range features enhanced inner padding that adds extra structure while keeping the bag extremely lightweight, creating a versatile ladies crossbody ideal for work, travel, or day-to-day use.

Moving away from flat block colour, the print is built from soft, linear lines that create depth and movement across the surface. The result feels tactile and graphic at the same time - a contemporary evolution of Orla’s love of bold florals, with a lighter, more expressive hand. The bold spring-green palette feels fresh and earthly.

It is very lightweight, which is really important for a bag of this size because it would be uncomfortable if it was heavy. The strap is very comfortable and beautiful, and the quality is amazing. It stays flat, doesn’t twist, and gives the bag a real designer feel. There are lots of pockets, and they are very cleverly designed and useful. This was my first purchase from Orla Kiely, and now I will definitely keep looking at this brand. I used to buy Marimekko, but they stopped making my favourite model and the newer fabric feels much thinner and cheaper.
